I have just watched ” Love The Beast”.
    What a great movie!
Unfortunately a burned copy. I assure you that I am buying several valid copies to distibute to my family!
If I had to explain my love of all things automotive, this is what I would present.
    Well done!
I am sure these platitudes are of little consequence.
I love that you are still a down to earth guy that hangs with your mates in the shed.
Whilst I have no connection with you, other than enjoying your stand up and movies over the years, I do feel the deep love of vehicles that you obviously display in this film.
I misted up a lot of times, but really loved the end scene whenyou and your mates fixed up your Dad’s old T Bird.
Please fix “The Beast” again. I think quarter of a century of love deserves it.
This may be late, but I hope the XB gets going again soon, with you in it.

    Regards,
    MArkus Domas

You are so lucky to have seen Love the Beast. I live in the USA and I tried to get a DVD, but the Aussie technology is not compatible to ours. Yours is Region 4 and the USA is Region 1. It may be available later in the year. I live about 20 minutes from New York City, where it played at the
Tribeca Film Festival last April. Unfortunately, could not get there that night. That’s the only time it was shown in the US.
So much going on for Bana this year with three other films
premiering this summer and Beast too. If you have any way
of getting one for me, I’ll gladly pay for it, as long as it’s not
over the top in price. I’ve contacted the Pitstop Bookshop in
Perth, W. Australia. The DVD may be available later on, but I
would need the PAL format. I’m so disappointed. I’ve seen all his films, and dying to see this one.

    Thanks,
    Bev M.

Hi Mary and Michelle: I wasn’t sure just where to leave this message — found a new interview – Eric appeared on Rove McManus show – Nov. 6, 2009 to promote Time Travelers Wife, which just opened in Australia. To find it — on your search bar, type in Eric Bana Tv interview, Nov. 2009 and it’s at the top of the Google list with photo of actual interview. He’s looking good – turning grayer- and is funny, relaxed and revealing as always on Rove’s show. Good luck, Bev M

    I share your passion.

I just saw “The Beast”. Great flick almost had me heart-broken. Had to sell my Ford last year due to the great financial cockup.
Thanks for making the movie the missus bought it for me.

I suggest when your ready and have the time:
Get your mates to buy 3 and Jump in with both feet.
    One to use as parts.
The Second to race (one that has no mental attachment)
A Third as a daily driver in the US.
Make the yanks remember…….. Max and the last of the V8′s.

When your mates are available start the work, and crack a few coldies.
Get your dad to take you on a drive while your doing your builds.
Your family and friends are what keep you grounded.

    Keep your Aussie XB street.
I knew about the XB before watching the movie, I remember it being a mint car. I am sure it can be again once you start, it will all come together, it’s just making the time and money and fun with your mates once you get your arse into gear.

Hey Mary and MIchelle: Just checked on news for Bana and he’s
apparently starting work on a movie in March called Hana – which will be filmed in Germany. He plays the father of a 14 year old daughter, who teaches her how to be an assassin.
Sounds interesting. The plot is involved with the CIA etc.
